Utah is Nation’s Fastest-Growing State, Census Bureau Reports
Census ^ | 12-20-16

Posted on 12/20/2016 10:08:33 AM PST by Az Joe

DEC. 20, 2016 — Utah’s population crossed the 3.0 million mark as it became the nation’s fastest-growing state over the last year. Its population increased 2.0 percent to 3.1 million from July 1, 2015, to July 1, 2016, according to U.S. Census Bureau national and state population estimates released today.

“States in the South and West continued to lead in population growth,” said Ben Bolender, Chief of the Population Estimates Branch. “In 2016, 37.9 percent of the nation’s population lived in the South and 23.7 percent lived in the West.”

Following Utah, Nevada (2.0 percent), Idaho (1.8 percent), Florida (1.8 percent) and Washington (1.8 percent) saw the largest percentage increases in population.

Utah had Zero “hispanic” population 35 years ago.

Well, maybe a few.

But in general, Spanish was only heard in high school classes.

Now it’s 25% in a lot of areas, mostly illegals brought in by jerks from California bringing their slave population with them.

Mexican flags now fly over small towns like Heber City, a place that had not seen a Mexican national in 150 years before 1990.

THAT is where the population growth is coming from.

NOTHING good about it.

“It is an amazingly beautiful state (don’t live there, just visit on occasion) but it sounds like the folks there don’t want you to know that. :-)”

Our niece and her doctor husband just finished their 7,000 sf home and barn on 21 acres in just outside Cedar City, Utah. Absolutely gorgeous country, where both land and building costs are cheap/low. They are Las Vegas transplants.

I know the truth hurts, especially when you learn what an ignoramus you are. But no one said growing up was easy.

Take two aspirin and get back to us tomorrow.

“Being brought there by the Mormon Church. The Mormons are as bad, if not worse that the Catholics in bringing in “illegals” from Mexico who have been converted to Mormonism.”

Please offer proof, for both claims.

The economy in UT is driven by tourism, skiing and technology. Median age is youngest in the US. Active lifestyle options are endless.

For those thinking that living in a high desert and mountains is yucky, Utah thanks you for not moving in. You’re still welcome to spend your tourist dollars and go home.

Probably end up being liberalized like CO in 25 years.

If you are a LIB, feral or other loser, please stay away. It is hell living in the desert in the middle of nowhere with tarantulas, scorpions, rattlesnakes, oppressive heat and high winds.

It is not bigotry to oppose a religion that says God was once a man and men can become gods with their own planet and people to worship them and that God took the form of a man and had physical sex with Mary and that Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers. That pretty much covers blasphemy, heresy and apostasy.

Been through on I70/US50, nice folks down at that end. Even the silly small town cop that pulled me over at 8PM for 'speeding through a construction zone' that was deserted but for a half-dozen traffic cones along the sidewalk in the opposite lane. When I was asked where I was coming from (Fort Drum, NY) and I told him, his eyes got big and he looked as if he just stood on Superman's cape.

I left without a ticket.

To this day, one of the best pizzas I'd ever had was from some mom 'n pop place in Delta. And that was 17 years ago.

It must be easier to have grown up with/around them. A cousin’s daughter & son-in-law are at Hill AFB. The husband is an Air Force officer. They don’t like it there one little bit because their kids are given crap at school for not being LDS. They are Catholic and really looking forward to their next base.

Unlike devout Muslims, devout Mormons do not go around terrorizing people. OK, there is one example of a Mormon terrorist (Mark Hofmann), but that is the exception, not the rule.

“But they’re so nice”.

Joe, I believe that Satan was very nice to Jesus when he was tempting him.

Mormons can be nice people, and can believe some things that Christians do, but they are a non-Christian cult if you happen to look under the hood.

Look at a Mormon church sign the next time you see it. Note which words are put in the extra large type. This is all by design from Salt Lake HQ. IMHO just another misuse of name the Jesus Christ to mislead unsuspecting newcomers into believing that the Latter Day Saints are just another Christian church.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

“...their kids are given crap at school for not being LDS. They are Catholic...”

LDS Doctrine & Covenants refer to “the great and abominable church” as being the one headquartered in Rome. Mormon anti-Catholicism is also tinged with envy at the vast wealth of the Vatican.

If I was to move to Utah that would be the town. That place sure has grown since the last time I was there.
