Livestock watering does not need Congress the NRCS part of USDA already has billions of dollars a year to spend on things like that.
“some areas don’t want the structure”
So, build the structure to the north of those areas.
I don’t know why you picked me to spar with. Maybe because I run the Texas ping list?
Anywho... You don’t seem to be in agreement with fixing this problem. You knock the wall, but where’s your solution?
No. Maybe you should look at the true story instead of the democrat talking points. Trump wasn't the only one to try and buy that house, they gave up too.
Come condemn my land and see what you get.
Well I won't be coming for anyone's land but if you think you can keep your land if the State wants it, you are just stupid. Dead people own nothing.
Hate it, but that doesn't mean it is not the law. Some one else pointed out the damage to property owners that was cause by Ike's National highway system. I doubt you can find anyone today that doesn't think that was a good idea, minus those that lost their land.
That same damage is caused today by toll roads, yet they are still being built.
If not for the electoral college, New York City and Los Angeles would have determined our future, sadly States have no such protection against a couple large cities voting to take land in between the cities because democracy is at work inside the State.
Carrying and sending are two different things. Your argument is better made by a citizen of the world not a US Citizen.
I just back from Big Bend. Building a wall in that area is not feasible.
It is mountainous, has giant cliffs lining the river (and thus the border), and is a place of unparalleled beauty.
It would be wrong to build a wall there.
So I’m OK with just installing mortar emplacements and machine gun nests with overlapping fields of fire.
Big Bend is an area, not just a National Park, and just to the west of it is Big Bend Ranch STATE park, which also abuts the border.
If I was a Mexican I’d try to cross in any area OTHER than Big Bend. It is simply too rugged.
lol. That’s mighty giving of you :)
There is no reason, really, to ever go to Brownsville.
The Melina decision was about which private property owner would bring in more taxes. How did that work out for you?
Well then all you're doing is creating a new industry of money couriers who pick up money in San Diego (or Laredo or El Paso), legally cross the border and then wire it elsewhere in Mexico from there.
You're also making it hard on the many US retirees living there.
So he was trying to kick an old lady out of her house. Thanks for that clear and concise explanation.
Stupid huh. Well let a dead man tell you this. Been there done that.
Have been to the rail not once but twice over ED and once was with the Great State of Texas.
So take stupid and shove it up your arse.
There are some areas where a wall of agents would suffice.
No thanks, if you don't think they can take your land then you are stupid. Talk is cheap and so is ammo and the government has several billion rounds. Now if you can get the Texas Rangers to defend you maybe they would give up but unless you are important they won't.
Did you help that little church in Waco they burned to the ground? Or do you just talk?
He was trying to buy the house, had a deal and a relative got involved and jacked up the price.
There is a Big Bend State park right down the road from the Big Bend National park, just saying. Part of Texas already has a wall. And part of Texas will be impossible to have a wall. Up until last month it had all kinds of technology on the border that was paid for until 2018 (I think) but obozo had them shut it down.
