You may remember Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson, the faux pro-life Republican who refused to prosecute accused neck-twisting Houston abortionist Doug Karpen. She also later flipped a grand jury that was supposed to investigate Planned Parenthood, but instead indicted pro-life journalists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt.
Daleiden and Merritts charges were later dismissed after it was revealed that Anderson had violated the law to indict them.
Illustrating that old adage, what goes around comes around, Anderson was soundly defeated in November.
But it gets better.
The new District Attorney-Elect Kim Ogg has decided to drain the swamp of corruption, which plagued the office during Andersons tenure.
Ogg has notified 40 prosecutors that their services are no longer needed.
Among them is Assistant District Attorney Sunni Mitchell.
Anderson had selected Mitchell to oversee the 2013 Karpen grand jury and the 2015 Planned Parenthood/Daleiden grand jury. Mitchell has been blamed for leaking information from the secret grand jury process to Planned Parenthood then working with them to indict Daleiden and Merritt. Her manipulation of both grand juries protected Karpen and Planned Parenthood from criminal prosecution.
Karpen was accused in a formal complaint filed by Operation Rescue of murdering babies born alive during shoddy abortion procedures, while two years later, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast was caught on film by Daleiden and Merritt haggling for the best price in exchange for aborted baby parts.
The Anderson/Mitchell 2015 grand jury never even took a vote on Planned Parenthoods charges, citing a lack of evidence, but Mitchell was caught colluding with Planned Parenthood during the entire investigation.
Despite efforts to expose the tainted process, it seemed like Planned Parenthood was off the hook for good.
However, more good news came last week when the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee announced it had referred Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution.
Apparently, the Judiciary Committee miraculously found the evidence Anderson said didnt exist.
For three years, Operation Rescue posted numerous articles and even attended a large press conference in Houston last year in an effort to expose the corruption in Andersons office that was thwarting justice.
That makes recent developments particularly satisfying for us.
Part of what happens when we work to end the injustice of abortion is that corruption, which protects abortion abusers, is exposed, said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. This serves to benefit everyone in society, even those who have little interest in abortion.
Now that Anderson and Mitchell have been sent packing, Operation Rescue has plans for the New Year. We are preparing to formally request a reopening of the murder investigation against Karpen once the new District Attorney takes office in January.
Maybe with the swamp finally drained, justice can finally be found.

Excellent.
I live in Harris County. Ogg got my vote.
Ogg is a Soros puppet.
Good.
Me, too. My reason was the DA arresting a rape victim.
Maybe she can get work in Marfa
Thanks for the information, I thought the GOP defeat was a bad thing, but your information changed that view.
The Mayor is (D), and this election saw 35 of 42 (83%) partisan races go to Democrats in Harris County.

explain yourself
She appears to have just done a very good thing
I nominate this person for the honorable patriot award. Excellent news.
Kim Ogg is a Soros puppet
She will be 100 times worse than Devon Anderson.
You’ll regret it.
Just a reminder, Republicans.....P/P and the abortion orshippers spent thirty eight million dollars to get Hillary into the Oval Office.
Remember when the "kind-hearted and compassionate" Clintons (Bill
was then-President) assured us that abortion would be "safe, legal and rare?"
============================================
The kindly compassionate Clintons "forgot" to mention that they
themselves opened the gates so that Planned Parenthood could traffic
(and profit) in baby body parts.
(EXCERPT--WND.COM). Then-Pres Clinton is credited w/ opening up the market in fetal body parts. Since Clinton signed the National Institutes of Health Revitalization Act of 1993, fetal-tissue research has expanded into a federally subsidized multi-million dollar industry of selling human spare parts salvaged from abortions.
For example, the NIH budgeted $21 million in fiscal year 1999 for grants and awards for fetal tissue research. At the University of Washington, the NIH subsidizes the central laboratory for human embryology.
According to a lab notice obtained by WorldNetDaily, it can supply tissue from normal or abnormal embryos and fetuses of desired gestational ages between 40 days to term. Specimens are obtained within minutes of passage, and tissues are aseptically identified, staged, and immediately processed according to the requirements of individual investigators. The notice is signed by Alan G. Fantel of the department of pediatrics.
At the time, two organizations that profited from this growth industry were (the now defunct) Opening Lines, a business formerly located in West Frankfort, Illinois...... and Anatomic Gift Foundation, headquartered in Laurel, Maryland.
Opening Lines gives credit to President Clinton for opening up the lucrative business in fetal tissue trade.
According to Opening Lines, on January 22, 1993, Clinton lifted the moratorium on federal funding. This action created a great demand for fetal tissue and has made possible the development of treatments for individuals afflicted with serious diseases and disorders, says the sales brochure.
Both companies served as wholesalers for the marketing of baby body parts to researchers, drug companies, hospitals and universities. These groups harvest the baby parts from abortion clinics and ship them to their customers.
Opening Lines provides fetal tissue researchers with a fee for service schedule, which gives prices for each body part. For example, Opening Lines charged:
<><> $150 for a spinal column;
<><> $400 for an intact embryonic cadaver;
<><>$75 for 8-week-old baby's eyeballs (40% discount for a single eye);
<><>$150 for two arms or legs; and,
<><> $100 for the skin of a 12-week-old baby.
=======================================
I wonder how many of the vulnerable women who surrender their innocent children to these monsters, ever stop to think:
<><> The innocent child in the womb is seen by the P/P savages as nothing more than a commodity.
<><> The P/P beasts salivate at the money to be made on the backs of the unborn.
<><> PP might purposefully mess up the birth control of these sexually active omen, to get their filthy hands on these babies.
<><> Studies need to be done to determine the percentage rate of birth control users returning to PP for abortions.
Toss her insane perverted self and her minions out.
Mr k again, posting on something he knows nothing about.
You research ogg and listen to the other posters here.
The face of evil right there.
Devon Anderson was a disappointment in the PP case. Sunni Mitchell on the case was as a minimum an appearance of conflict of interest, and should have been grounds for recusal. With Kim Ogg as Harris County DA, it will get worse.
Explain please.
