Alaska’s in, just IA, MT and TX outstanding for Trump. TX may be holding off till the others vote after all - thought perhaps not on purpose.

I suspect this is the Native American Dem elector who announced his refusal to vote for HRC months ago.

Faith Spotted Eagle is likely a former tribesman.

4 vacant seats in Texas (2 absent, 2 ineligible)

So far.... 3 nominations for 1st seat. 4 nominations for 2nd seat. Nominations for 3rd and 4th not yet started. Smacking head on table.

Looks like 4 of Hillary’s electors went other in the state of Washington. I don’t like it on principle.

So now you know the true worth of Trump as President.

Build the wall, send them home.

My state, at least West of the Cascades, is just few degrees off plumb.

It leans left. But you knew that.

Chilling, and heartbreaking.

I can’t believe what I am watching, how many nominations can they put forward for these 4 no shows? I should know more about how this functions, I just have no idea how long this can go on.

Don’t they have to have it done by 3 local time?

We are. I don’t even like to go shopping any more because no one speaks English.

And they’re all up for free meals and gifts at Christmas because they are “poor’.

With new iPhones and Michael Kors handbags and 8 kids apiece.

I’m disgusted with the situation. I’m almost in awe when I visit other states and see people with light colored hair.

Call me a racist. I’m THAT close!

TX isn’t holding off. There were 4 vacancies in the 38 seats. They are currently taking nominations for 4 seats and it’s taking forever. Lots of nominations for each seat and lots of points of order.

Faith Spotted Eagle is a Dakota Sioux woman.
She was leading these protests against a South Dakota pipeline.

Not that I’m aware of. Normally it’s straight forward. Problem is that they spent like 30 minutes doing speeches and listening to childrens choirs. Then when they actually got down to business discovered that 4 elector seats were vacant. Now under state law they have to elect replacements on the spot. First they have to take nominations for each, get a first and second confirmation for each nom, then close the nom process for that seat with a first and second confirmation. That’s for each seat. They have to do this four times. Then, THEN, they will vote for each seat. Seat them, swear them in. THEN THEN THEN they will vote.

Does anyone know if there is a deadline for submitting your state’s electoral votes? Curious about the clock on Texas.
