Unless she used stronger and/or more poignant language that is outlined here, I don’t know if I’d say she ‘destroyed the idiots’ exactly, but any pushback and rebuttal is welcome indeed.
“Destroyed” has indeed become quite overused and broadly defined lately, and this would be an example.
