Sometimes, I have to say that this pope doesn’t have a clue as to how the world really works. Or if he does, then his goals are completely different that most Catholics I know.
He seems to be catering to the Cafeteria Catholic, or CINO.

Not to argue bible with the Pope, but Joseph wasn’t a migrant. He went to Bethlehem because of a decree of an emperor that said everybody had to do so.
He fled to Egypt because a local King was trying to kill his son. Then he ended up going back home.
He wasn’t really even a refugee, he was a specifically targeted individual.

This pope is a crazy, ugly, detestable Latin American populist Marxist who doesn’t believe in a darn thing except his power. From the account in St. Luke, your case is even stronger than that. St. Joseph went to Jerusalem because the Emperor said everyone must register at the city of his family's origin. He wasn't a migrant in Jerusalem because he was descended from King David. He wasn't, say, descended from Aztecs.
