Yep, and there was also a fear of telling Hillary anything that she didn't want to hear. I can certainly imagine an adviser telling Reagan something unpleasant. And I can imagine Reagan listening, then adjusting course as necessary.

But no way can I imagine anyone telling Hillary something unpleasant. The expected hissy-fit would be enough to silence any of the snowflakes on her staff.

That’s a great point.

The ECHO CHAMBER she created by yelling and screaming at anyone who wasn’t kissing her ass led to the campaign being in denial.

Also, in all fairness, most of the polls blew it. They were either push polls or folks just didn’t want to tell people they supported Trump.
