She did run a poor campaign, but statistically it is rare for the Democrats to win a third term. The Republicans do a little better than that, i.e., the first Bush succeeding Reagan.
Generally the presidency changes parties every eight years since the time when FDR and the Truman had the white house for the Democrats for 20 years.
She may have run a “bad” campaign but millions of idiots voted for her anyway...so...”what difference does it make”?
