Oh boy! We have a leading indicator that infighting, mutual recriminations, and media leaks finally are breaking out among members of Team Hillary, as responsibility for losing the election is being dodged. All the help from John Brennan and the media claiming “hacking” (by implication of voting machines, but really meaning John Podesta clicked on a link in a phishing email) isn’t enough to blame Russia and have it stick. It is already leading to widespread (and effective) mockery:

Vanity Fair (of course!) is the first to bring us news of the backbiting, and chooses Huma Abedin, the fashionably slender and sympathetically cyber-cheated on, as the focus. William D. Cohan writes:

She's the first casualty in the "Fall of the House of Clinton." Others are coming, such as Cheryl Mills and John Podesta. Donations to Clinton Inc. are falling, as are public speaking engagements. They're going to be crowded out by Obama after Inauguration Day.

Try as they might, Chelsea's not going to be able to keep them in power. Had she married a Kennedy, it might have been a different story, i.e. a return to Camelot (barf).

Hillary and Huma are in love... She's going nowhere, as evidenced when she stood by Hillary's side as she shook hands with supporters after giving her belated concession spew. If Huma decides to leave, Hillary will be begging her to stay and there is no way in hell that she's firing Huma. The last thing Hillary needs is a 'tell all' book from a woman who knows where all of Hillary's bones are buried.

And if you haven't contemplated the idea that Hillary and Huma are in fact long time lovers, you haven't been paying attention. You just don't dump long time lovers without some sort of a fight, either in an actual court or the court of public opinion.
