this will become the model for future polling/surveying, replacing the flawed and easily-manipulated conventional polls.
Well, as Scott Adams noted, journalism is persuasion. The polls that proved to be biased toward Hillary were intended to persuade the rubes that it wasn’t worth the bother to vote against her.

If LS is correct that herself believed them, that is just one more reason why she should not be POTUS. Because, if so, she is much more of a “rube” herself than she would ever admit to herself. She shouldn’t be surprised;

The natural disposition is always to believe. It is acquired wisdom and experience only that teach incredulity, and they very seldom teach it enough. The wisest and most cautious of us all frequently gives credit to stories which he himself is afterwards both ashamed and astonished that he could possibly think of believing.  Adam Smith, Theory of Moral Sentiments (1759)

Sort of like mixing up the Kool Aid for the masses and then finding that you like drinking it yourself...

The tendency to “want too believe” is even more dominant when the principles of logic and persuasion are no longer taught and children pass throught he educational system without being challenged to evaluate what they hear and develop critical thinking skills. As our schools have done for decades now.
