Fire them. Fire them ALL. Rick Perry knows plenty of energy people who could take those losers’ places!

As if this election couldn’t get weirder!

Perry wanted to eliminate the department when he ran for President.

He had the right idea.

The reality of modern liberalism exists within the boundaries of Illusion, Lies, Deception and Fraud. As totally conjured as Obama’s past.

Past reviews are worse than worthless when it comes to this department. It must end, be totally replaced with something constructive.

HR people are like bean counters, they are navigators and score keepers. But should never be pilots.

Managers that are effective have vision, those traits are often suppressed in corporate America. It is a question of objective.

Now, Donald trump has done many takeover situations. I believe he is quite capable of quickly accessing what is required for companies to be redirected. Much of those traits can apply to government organizations. What works, works.

There are personality traits about Trump that I am uncomfortable with, but I have great respect for his knowledge and instincts.

I have worked for a couple of very successful old school business families. I believe that God’s hand print can be seen in this election and that those who seek to destroy the US and enslave the world have just been Trumped by God.

it's time

Yes, It's TIME to DownSize DC! Close entire Rogue/Un-Constitutional Departments, including their SWAT Teams.

AND there is no reason that Congress should be in DC full time. Force them to telecommute most of the year from their home district, under the thumb of those who elected them. Let them assemble in DC twice a year for a couple of weeks. Texas legislature meets every other year, unless the Governor calls a special session. It has worked well for a very long time, there is no reason the same thing cannot work for the nation.

It is TIME to move the center of gravity of the Fed Gov away from DC. Return much of the abused authority to the States and to the People.

Freedom Works.

Yes, I agree. What is being embarked upon is a heavy lifting project that MUST be done.

Rick is capable of doing what needs to be done. He is criticized here a lot, but he did secure Texas as a solid GOP state. You must give him credit for that.

Having worked for the EPA, VA, Army, Navy, and State Department(s) every job or project is contained somewhere in your performance appraisals - putting someone on promotion boards and in HR will get Trump the information and ability to rid Government of them.

I meant no disrespect for HR but the point of reference of those who write the performance reviews do affect how an employee is evaluated.

The current collection of misfits running the Fed Gov is so warped as to make it difficult separating those who need to be kept and those who need to go more difficult than normal. The evaluations of idiots carry less weight than evaluations of informed experienced honest managers.

All great posts.

I expect they are going to use the next few weeks to cover their tracks. This is a stalling tactic - obviously.

What is the ‘energy output’ of those 100,000 employees???>>>Very funny put them on treadmills as long they add to the grid keep em. the ones that don’t fire them. The best part of this story is that there are only 14,000 actual employees. the rest can be let go day one.

Kind of neat they put a guy in charge of it that thinks it should be eliminated.

Hey, maybe Perry's goal will be to eliminate the department by the end of his appointment. The first step, and an easy one, would be to end all hiring and cut every position whose occupant leaves.
