In a last ditch effort to free their son, the parents of First Lieutenant Clint Lorance have created a video plea asking President Obama for a presidential pardon.
The heartbreaking four-minute video features Anna and Tracy Lorance explaining the character of their son and why he deserves to walk free.
Lieutenant Lorance was convicted of murder and sentenced to 20 years in prison for ordering his men engage three military aged males riding a motorcycle speeding towards his patrol in Kandahar, Afghanistan in July of 2012.

President Trump should pardon Lorance (and some others) in his inaugural address. And tell the military that the Commander-in-Chief has their backs.
It would undoubtedly help if Lieutenant Lorance was to claim the killings were the result of a drug deal gone bad.
Obama should be facing years in prison for needlessly killing our soldiers by forbidding them to fire unless the enemy had the opportuity to kill them first. No one but a Muslim sympathizer would order such a thing.
Best case scenario would be to pardon the Lt AND bring charges against the p.o.s. that initiated charges against the Lt, as well as everyone in the chain of command that went along with it, and the JAG officers that prosecuted.
This crap about second guessing front line combatants at the point of contact has to be put to a hard and fast death.
Makes my blood boil.
I hope Trump pardons this man, and several others in similar positions, IMMEDIATELY.

If this doesn’t infuriate every American, we are broken.
The CIA was running weapons to this region of the world and some of the top senators were well aware of that fact. Our soldiers are forced to protect themselves from weapons that are procured by US. While the cowards in office pretend we are not at war.
Odumbo, the S.O.B. has our military people in harms way and does not let them fire unless fired upon. Major danger exists and suicide bombings happen every day by so-called un-armed terrorists and no one is allowed to shoot. Then, somebody actually shoots a few of these savages. The shooter, believing HIS and the lives of his comrades are in danger so he kills a few rag heads and now faces some serious punishment. A deserter crosses over to the rag head enemy, spends a serious amount of time with them and he gets a welcome home hero’s welcome by odumbo.
Anyone wonder why our military is so happy to see that half breed bastard about to be evicted? They, including me, hate him with a passion.
