Why, to celebrate the Chinese New Year, of course....although the holiday isn't till the end of January.

BTW, 2016 is the Year of the Monkey, according to the Chinese calendar. So he can claim he was just "monkeying around"....and if you don't believe that, you're an anti-Asiatic racist and a white supremist, to boot.
