My prediction is they will try to repeat their successful performance against GW Bush. IMHO, it wont work. Trump aint gonna lay down for it like Bush did.
Shhhh! They’re burying themselves just fine, let them keep talking.
As long as Democrats are pro-abortion, they are rabid dogs, who do not belong in any public office. The behavior of the Democrats in the past four weeks is further demonstration of this fact. They will destroy every legal structure if it fails to give them power.
It is pointless and delusional to give friendly advice to rabid animals, as Barone does here.
Any sane individual who might listen to him was driven out of that party long ago.

But at the moment this is looking like 2000. Back then, they acted like W was not the president and lost in the midterms. They continued on into 2004 the with the same attitude and got swamped again. Took em 6 years to right the ship.

Grievance can work both ways. I’m pretty sure that there were plenty of Trump voters with grievances over how they have been treated during the last 8 years. I’m also pretty sure that there are quite a few non-whites with grievances over how they have been force fed the propaganda that the Democrats love them and Republicans hate them, yet have failed to see any improvement in their lives over the last 8 years.
If Republicans are smart, they also will not count on the “grievance vote”. If Trump does a great job, he will be re-elected with the “gratitude vote.”
Rush is known for providing good, honest advice to the dims, knowing that they will ignore it because it came from him. I think Barone might be doing something similar here.
