Every voter in the U.S. knew before voting of the claim that the Russians were trying to manipulate the campaign. It was a key point made by Hillary, in fact.

So, the voters knew. The problem is to show that somehow the Russians had actual influence on the outcome as a consequence.

I don't know. I'd say, "Every voter knew IT WAS CLAIMED that the Russians were trying to manipulate the campaign." That's not the same thing, and I'm not convinced that the Russians would have preferred a sane, businesslike America-first Trump to an unstable but black-mailable Hillary.

There's something else at play here. Going back a couple of generations, the US government enjoyed the presumption of belief, but that's been badly damaged over the years. GWB was no saint here, but Clinton and especially Obama lied to us daily. Whose first response now is to trust government claims without checking that they are not self-serving for the party in power?

I don’t believe the wikileaks emails had any impact on the election.
