Buried in the article:

One senior government official, who had been briefed on an F.B.I. investigation into the matter, said that while there were attempts to penetrate the Republican committee’s systems, they were not successful.

SNIP

It is unclear how many files were stolen from the Republican committee; in some cases, investigators never get a clear picture. It is also far from clear that Russia’s original intent was to support Mr. Trump, and many intelligence officials — and former officials in Mrs. Clinton’s campaign — believe that the primary motive of the Russians was to simply disrupt the campaign and undercut confidence in the integrity of the vote.

One senior government official, who had been briefed on an F.B.I. investigation into the matter, said that while there were attempts to penetrate the Republican committee’s systems, they were not successful.

SNIP

The Russians were as surprised as everyone else at Mr. Trump’s victory, intelligence officials said. Had Mrs. Clinton won, they believe, emails stolen from the Democratic committee and from senior members of her campaign could have been used to undercut her legitimacy. The intelligence agencies’ conclusion that Russia tried to help Mr. Trump was first reported by The Washington Post.

>> Intelligence agencies have concluded that the Russians gave the Democrats’ documents to WikiLeaks.

Because the most unreliable source of information said so?

Our intelligence services have been watered down for the past 8 years . Unless they are willing to say Russia DEFINATELY was the party responsible ,they should be quiet about it. But of course, that ruins the Left’s narrative.

First clue is that it wasn’t the Russians. Sorry but there is no real evidence that Vlad was behind the hacking. There is more evidence that it was a homegrown false flag event.

Part of Trump's MO in "The Art of the Deal" is finding out how to make the other guy make a mistake.

So here we are....and Obama is insisting that Trump's win is because of Putin.

Yeh...I remember getting a call from Putin's guys telling me to make sure I vote because it's important to Mr. Putin.

Dumb move on Obama's part.

The only confirmations missing now would be from Brian Williams, who will say he remembers being in Moscow when the Russians hacked the data, and then Dan Rather, who will come up with new GOP Wikileaks documents. They would be fake but accurate of course. Kenneth, What’s the effing frequency?

They only care about who made them public.

That has always been the democrat M.O.

Attack the attacker - never defend against the charges.

Makes sense...according to the left, the Russians did what the Republicans were supposed to do as a whole and resisted the Clinton campaign.

So if true, should I not just send donated directly to Russia in the future? Well done, Tovarish, well done...

'Cause don't think for a second I'm letting $$$ go to this...

Sheriff has a news conference on Dec 15. Then the flood gates open up.

This is all about muddying the waters as part of a CYA effort

Russia had every interest in defeating Hillary Clinton. She had clearly exposed herself as a globalist war merchant who had the support of many of the “neo-conservatives” who had been driving U.S. foreign policy for 25 years.

They want to delegitimize the Trump presidency. They start by focusing on the popular vote and follow up with Russian intervention. The question is, is how far will they run with this? Will they attempt a full blown coup? or will they be satisfied with less? This is their birther movement. How far will they take it?

Even if the Russians did hack the RNC, probably was pretty boring crap about how they were going to get Bush elected. Trump didn’t really use the RNC like Hillary used the DNC. The RNC was just as much the enemy to Trump as the DNC.

This whole Russian hack stuff is all a left wing narrative and that is all.

The loss of magic is exacerbated by the perception that the American enemy is actually your personal enemy. Once paranoia grasps your mind the effect can be extrapolated geometrically.

“They killed me, I know it was them”

All nations with capability try to hack. Some succeed and others do not. Hacking is spying, is universal, since the beginning of time.

Totally unmentioned is American hacking.

The CIA is carrying water for the Democrats by discrediting Trump’s election. This is political interference in this country that is illegal. This should be investigated by Pres. Trump’s administration.
