ROFL - I actually laughed. I’m in break at work and the other workers are giving me looks.
Generally, people won’t want to address a habit problem that does not otherwise prompt to crime, with “vigilantism.” They will address it with exhortations to sobriety, to sanity, to better health, in fact by caring more about their neighbor not forsaking a life worth living (which is a WHALE of a lot more than “don’t get high”).
We hope to have doctors as more objective experts on the merits of modern medicine. I wouldn’t want to be without it. In spite of notorious failures, it has had even better successes. Some health problems are appearing because their sufferers have outlived other health problems that were vanquished. This is the story of fallen mankind; it will suffer somehow. However, it can also be spared certain other sufferings that rob it of life earlier than necessary. Modern medicine is a gift from God, intended by God to be used wisely along with other measures to maximize God’s glory in a life.
So, of course, know about the scandals, but know also about the triumphs, and do not abolish the triumphs on account of the scandals.
At least, on their OWN they won’t want it.
When lefties come into a picture and push a one-dimensional answer, they can persuade people to want it. “When They All Stop The Brewing” anybody?
They haven’t solved the issue of the disastrous effects of their drugs, half my health issues are dr error or prescription drug induced. So there is no cure and I’m cursed to live in chronic pain 24/7 for the rest of my life. Now I’m denied even the sufficient med to even lower the nerve damage pain.
While the advancement of medical science fascinates me, it has to be safe and effective. We have always had fakes and quacks. Just as we’ve had Preachers who are in it to line their pockets with millions they scam out of the gullible.
