Negative media coverage of Donald Trump was 77 percent during the general election, according to a study released Wednesday by the Harvard Kennedy School's Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy.
Trump complained during the campaign that the media was biased against him in favor of Democrat Hillary Clinton. The study found that while Clinton also received more negative coverage than positive, it was only 64 percent negative in the general election.

In addition, hundreds of millions of dollars were spent on negative ads attacking Trump. And prominent Republicans continually attacked Trump as well as most opinion makers and columnists.
Trump was also outspent by a huge margin.
It is remarkable that Trump was able to win.
It’s continues at possibly an even greater pace. I viewed the ABC Evening News a couple of nights ago (not my choice believe me) and everything said about Trump was in a negative light. The Carrier deal, cabinet picks, his involvement in his personal business, contact with South Korea. All negative.
23% favorable? Or maybe more like 20% neutral and 3% favorable?
The other 22.9999999% was HEAVILY Negative.
So the media wants us all out of work? Screw them!

So after the carrier automation, just how many jobs does 16 mil buy? Dt is either a liar or an idiot to make that deal and call it a job saver. He sounds more like Obama than Jeb bush. Tired of being lied to. I just can’t believe pence was part of that outright lie.
The constant onslaught of negative coverage only makes Mr Trump’s sacrifice even more remarkable.
I’ve said before, he didn’t have to do this. He did it because he loves his country.
Trump won with the middle class because of the negative from the press and the nevertrumpers. It was how he played them that won it for him! I hope a new class of conservatives learn that they don;t have to be timid with the press and ‘reach across’ the isle!
If anything the ‘classic’ media has lost, and is going the way of the buggy whip. The new media politicos will use them for free publicity as they spin themselves into MEANinglessness.
ID the individual propagandists. DEPROGRAM yourself from them. Do your own research.

I think 77% is low...but low or not 77% negative and 100% wrong!
100% of the coverage should have been NEUTRAL.
