Not fair... Reagan got double-crossed on border security, and Levin has been very good on the issue of illegal immigration in recent years.

But Levin’s idolatry of libertarian trade has him constantly screaming in fury, when he should be at least happy Clinton didn’t win.

Government has grown every year for the past 105 years , in all 3 levels of government.Ronald Reagan is the only politician to ever significantly reduce government regulations. Trump plans to reduce regulations even more, reduce taxes, and government employees (All 3 have never happened in the last 105 years never) Politicians like Romney and Ryan talk a good game but they are ALL professional bought off liars.That’s why government has grown every year

Actually, Reagan signed new laws that if enforced would have protected the nation from illegal immigration run amuck.

Unfortunately his V.P. moved on to refuse to enforce the laws. Every president that followed also refused.

There were very stiff fines put in place for employers who hired illegals.

Inland enforcement evaporated after Reagan. Here we are.

Actually, he did, but it didn't work out well.

He instituted a program paying $500 for each illegal fingered for deportation. Unfortunately, that was enough to have buddies turn them in for the money only to have them come back again. You need to secure the border AND deportation, in that order. Otherwise you are bailing a leaky boat.
