Luis must have watched the opening segment last night, when the substitute host for Megyn Kelly asked her guests about the Time article quote from Trump, regarding illegal aliens, that his future action would make a lot of people happy.

Why can’t the referenced happy people be Trump’s supporters? Why is it assumed it’s the illegals and Demonrats?
To clarify, not just Trump supporters but all Americans who do not want illegals in the country.

I suspect Trump will do the following on the 700,000 DACA recipients:
—End the DACA program immediately upon assuming office. No more people will be given legal status.
—The DACA authorization lasts for two years and must be renewed. Trump will require a review of each DACA recipient to determine whether they will be granted some form of legalization based on a set of restrictive criteria.
The “Dreamers” have always been the most sympathetic group as far as the opinion of the American public is concerned. A majority support legalization, which is why Trump must handle it carefully. The “Dreamers” have always been portrayed as “children,” but most of them are adults. Many came here unaccompanied. Under DACA, there is nothing that states that you must have been brought here by your parents. You just have to get here before reaching 16. And you can apply for DACA status up to the age of 31. The approval rate for DACA status is over 99.5%.
The main thing is that Trump immediately stop the program and then initiate an individual review process as the renewal of DACA permits comes due. Since the 700,000 DACA recipents have SSNs, work permits, and in many states, drivers’ licenses, it is going to be difficult to unring this bell. It must be handled by Trump in a way that does not hurt him politically with the majority of Americans.
As long as Jeff Sessions and Kris Kobach are advising him, I have every confidence that Trump will navigate this problem in the right way.

I agree but I meant in the robbery/rape etc.sense. I agree about the line cutting. My father and stepfather were both immigrants from Eastern Europe who risked their lives and spent a couple of years in refugee camps for a chance to come here. Both became citizens and proud Americans.
