It isn’t 1952 and it hasn’t been 1952 for a very long time. 1952 doesn’t look to be coming back any time soon, either. Most of the people who complain about the ads are the kind complaining about Donald Trump’s conduct and wishing for a more ‘civil candidate’ like Romney.
