I have to agree it wouldn’t be Christmas without Vince Guaraldi’s legendary jazz score.
I also listen to a lot of classical Christmas music, especially Bach.

Darn! I answered before I read any of the posts. My favorite is Weird Al Yankovic - Christmas At Ground Zero

An album my mother would always play during the season called, “The Spirit of Christmas with the Living Strings.”
It was recorded in London and has since became a classic.
No other Christmas music has never quite lived up to the beauty of this album to me...

Yep! That brings back great memories for me. When I was 6, my aunt Nancy gave me a record player, and one album, The Ray Conniff Singers Christmas Album. Found it
here.
I listened to it so much, I must have worn it out. I played even during the summer - lol.

I can’t think of Ray Conniff without thinking of “Good Morning, Vietnam”.
“Eddie Kirk here, and Ray Conniff jubilee coming up in just a few moments. I call it a jubilee. Actually, it’s a Ray Conniff featurette. Three, maybe four, back-to-back Ray Conniff classics.”

That’s what I’m talkin’ about! Gosh, I used to go to the concerts. I’ve got it on vinyl though, Angel with Otto Klemperer.
Thank you for your inspiration!

I like a lot of Christmas albums, but these nostalgic, old-fashioned, sentimental ones are very special to me.
(A least I think these youtube collections reflect full albums, but, in any case, I like these versions of these songs, which were recorded long ago.)

Agreed, but you are dating us.
:)
BTW, Elvis, who was an incredible Gospel singer, did some great Christmas stuff too.
