She wants to get the state courts to say she is entitled to a recount. As it stands, the state courts have said she is not entitled to a recount.

The only reason recounting is going on at all is that the federal courts stuck their nose where it doesn't belong. The federal appeals court is trying to do the right thing and exit without losing (much) face, but the district court judge is demonstrating the true nature of courts - they are arbitrary and capricious tyrants, unaccountable to the people they order around.

I answered that from a legal perspective, but I realized you might be asking a different question, what is her motive.

It isn't clear to me, but based on the states she chose to recount, she is not interested in the integrity of the vote (if she was, there are close contests in both directions), she is trying to deligitimize Trump's success. I also think she is working hand in hand with DEMs, and that she will gain financially.

I mentioned earlier today, I'd game the legal system too, if somebody paid me enough money. Nothing to lose. The people will forget in a few weeks, if they knew at all, and a million bucks is quite a bit of money. I think the court system is a joke anyway, so it would give me pleasure to let them "strut their stuff."
