I cannot go through TSA anymore without gritting my teeth.
I understood after 9/11 why this was done, if we weren’t going to profile there was no other way. (I preferred, and still do, the Israeli approach)
But it appears to me to be a Federal Jobs Program, and nothing else. I try not to direct my irritation directly at the people there, but sometimes I just cannot help myself.
Even though I prepare scrupulously so I don’t hold up the line, I am always pulled to the side, have my bag opened, manually searched and have my hands swabbed.
My wife pokes a little at me, but I am rarely in the mood to laugh.

Must be the expression on your face. Just like me, you as a free citizen can’t hide your resentment. I maintain stoical silence and lock my eyes straight ahead while a goon whispers, “You know, we can always have you strip searched.”
Being white doesn’t help, either.
Hope President Trump guts this outfit, fires all their @zzes, and institutes Israeli style airport security.
