Most of them voted in their state and Trump won their state.

Also, given that they’re talking to democrats....most of them already don’t pay taxes.

New rule: If your candidate doesn’t win you don’t pay any taxes. I want my last 8 years of taxes back BTW.

“He’s nothing but a tantrum throwing puke”

I disagree. He is also a drooling moron.

This is exactly the circumstance the Founding Fathers foresaw.

The teeming slums in a few large cities should not dictate to the rest of the country.

How does one not pay taxes in this electronic transaction day and age?

Unless you don’t transact.

Unless you transact with cash.

Plus, the counties that went for Hillary represent 64% of the wealth.

So much for the Democrats being the party of the poor.

It’s like football; it’s not how many yards your team gains, it’s how many points they put on the board!

I think they should all go ahead and not pay their taxes. I’m interested to see how that goes for them.

And then ALL of the Americans in the red counties can cut off ALL of the support and resources supplied to those few blue blue counties.

Want to go down that road?

Since most of them get net subsidies from those of us who actually pay taxes, this might be a great idea!!

No taxation without representation!

The President is NOT your representative. You have Congressmen for that. You have state Assemblies for that.

You ARE represented, but the number of Democrats in "representative" offices is dwindling across the country.

A good portion of that 65 million don’t pay taxes in the first place.

That is sooo true.

Try it and jail will be their future. That is after the IRS ceases all their assets.

What difference is that from now? Half the country does not pay taxes and I bet that most are liberals.

A few rich people in those counties make all the money (such as Wall Street) and everyone else gets at their money through taxes

Most Republicans are quite content with this system. Appeals to fairness have not persuaded them of the need to amend the Constitution to establish direct presidential elections, preferably with a runoff if no one wins 50% of the vote.

The electoral college is fair, in that it prevents population centers (collectives) dictating to the rest of the country.

Even the taunt, “Are you afraid of a direct election? Can’t you win a straight-up vote?” doesn’t faze them.

1. Yes, I am afraid of a direct election because they can lead to tyranny.
2. No, we probably couldn't win a straight-up vote with the amount of election fraud Democrats routinely engage in.

If the Republicans won’t help amend the Constitution so that America can resume being a democracy, then Democrats, lacking the representation that supporters of a future popular vote-winner ought to have in the executive branch, should not submit to paying taxes to the federal government.

We are not a democracy. We are a representative republic. There is no such thing as a popular vote for President, so there is no winner of one.

If the U.S. government wanted control over the trillions of dollars in this escrow account, it would have to replace our antiquated electoral system with a fairer way of electing presidents.

Simply being old doesn't make something invalid. If that were the case, the Constitution itself is invalid and unfair (oh yeah, liberals believe that already).

The beauty of a no-taxation pledge is that it almost certainly won’t have to be carried out. The mere threat could be enough to propel a Constitutional amendment.

Does he know what is needed to amend the Constitution and that the process favors Republicans at the moment.

The cry, “No Taxation Without Representation,” inspired America to declare its independence in 1776. It can also lead to a rebirth of democracy in our own time.

Once again, we are not a democracy. We do not want to be a democracy. We are a republic. I hate this guy.

Exactly, you can’t stop paying when you do not pay in the 1st place.
