Boston College Faculty Want to Ban Trump-Inspired ‘Hate Speech’

In response to Donald Trump’s victory in November’s presidential election, nearly 50 faculty members at Boston College have signed a letter demanding that the university ban all forms of “hate speech.” A letter signed by almost 50 Boston College faculty members condemns Donald Trump for failing to address the hate crimes “that his campaign emboldened.” They also condemn Trump for failing to apologize for the remarks he made about sexually assaulting women.

I've been making that point as well. The MSM have defined-down "sexual assault" to include what used to be called "getting fresh," i.e., a pinch or touch that no normal woman would think rose to the level of a crime. The woman would say, "Knock it off," and that would be the end of it if the man complied.

"Sexual assault" commonly refers to behavior ranging from rape to persistent and extreme forms of physical aggression with a sexual motive, usually involving some sort of actual struggle with the victim. Bill Clinton seems to have done that, but to my knowledge Trump didn't.

What Trump did was boorish, not criminal.
