Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said on Tuesday he would not let U.S. President-elect Donald Trump rip up a global nuclear deal, warning of unspecified repercussions if Washington reneges on the agreement.
Trump had said during campaigns for the White House that he would scrap Iran's pact with world powers - under which Tehran agreed to curb its nuclear program in return for lifted sanctions - describing it as "the worst deal ever negotiated".
"[Trump] wants to do many things, but none of his actions would affect us," Rouhani said in a speech at University of Tehran broadcast live on state television.
"Do you think the he can rip up the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action nuclear deal)? Do you think we and our nation will let him do that?"

What deal? Nobody signed anything.....well valjar did. The order of 6b in gold to be put on aircraft and delivered in the middle of the night to Iran. Not to mention the billions in cash.

This is NOT A TIME to be in, or traveling near Iran, Iraq, Syria or anyplace where an Iranian force could do a kidnapping. While I do not expect Trump to be as passive as Obama on US Citizens being kidnapped, this is the easy path of pressure for these dictatorships from North Korea to Iran.
With US Military in Iraq and the Iranian militia as well as sympathizers active there as well, I do see danger of staged incidents and also capture. Where Reagan had only the US Embassy hostages in 1980 and a relatively new Iranian theocracy to contend with (”Flat, black & glow in the night), Trump faces entrenched and empowered Iran that is seeing control of the region at hand. Obama has left a real IED for Trump to face!
