Yes. Discarding a court ruling is a significant step. USA has suffered from dictatorial court decisions since our judiciary simply asserted its supremacy. (marberry v Madison) It’s probably a structural issue without a super- good solution but we agree that the court’s attempt to uproot an entire town for no good reason needs correction one way or another. Perhaps the state or town should just exercise its power of eminent domain and pay the fellow for his 0.49 acre if it’s really his, and that’s that?
