St. Louis Police Department spokesperson Schron Jackson tells Missourinet that Mrs. Greitens had just left a restaurant in the 3900 block W. Pine and was seated inside her vehicle on the parking lot looking at her cellphone when her car door was suddenly opened by a black male suspect.

I think there might be a lesson there....

Thanks for this post. It answers a lot of questions. Looks like Mrs. Greitens let her situational awareness drop by getting too involved with her cell phone, giving the main perp an opportunity to walk up to her car and get the drop on her.
