I saw the final few minutes of his speech on fox and although parts of it were familiar i was still impressed with his energy and the smooth and impromptu style of his delivery.

Glad you got to see parts of the speech. I got to watch it here with the Trump Train family for once and enjoyed it immensely.
Yes, he repeated several themes he has spoken about before - but there is always something “new” so he included having General Mattis speak who was brief and to the point. Then there was Diamond and Silk - who spoke before the President spoke.
All in all, a wonderful experience, especially sharing it here on FR.
