The great Philadelphia recount has ended, and Hillary Clinton got five more votes than she had in her previous total.
Donald Trump’s number stayed the same, as did the totals for Independent candidate Gary Johnson and the Green Party’s Jill Stein after the City Commissioners Office recounted votes in 75 of Philadelphia’s more than 1600 voting divisions. The recount had been launched by 250-plus Philadelphia residents answering the call of Stein, who asked for three petitioners in each of Pennsylvania’s voting district to file recounts to assist in her attempts to get a statewide recount through a Commonwealth Court and then Federal Court lawsuit.
Stein’s camp had planned on using the district-level recounts as possible evidence for hacking or fraud. The recount turned up no instances of fraud or hacking here, City Commissioner Al Schmidt said, emphasizing the difficulty of hacking voting machines that aren’t connected to the internet.
“We have very primitive voting machines here,” he said. “Our voting system is only vulnerable to individual cases of voting fraud, as we’ve seen. Whenever it does occur it would be someone going in and voting for somebody else or an election board manually adding votes, which is an entirely different thing than hacking.”
The five extra votes for Clinton, he said, came from paper provisional or absentee ballots that were undetected by the optical scanner that counted votes in the days following the election. Schmidt said this can happen when people don’t mark their choices clearly on paper ballots or, ridiculous as it sounds, use a green highlighter instead of a pen or pencil.
I hope it was government employees who did the recount, with look, but don’t touch oversight. A whole lot of government employees were paid a whole lot of time and a half and even double, triple time, it would seem. How else could this have been accomplished in such a short amount of time? Maybe those who were greasing the skids to fix the election are angry that their machinations somehow failed.
It’s a federal felony for a non-citizen to vote in a federal election.
Issue warrants for ALL of them. They can self deport or get arrested.

With Philly count done and Hillary got 4 or 5 and Trump stayed the same.... it is over in PA.

She had a rally in PA. today and about 20 people showed up. Her web site shows that she has raised about $7,000 over the last 6 hours. Not good for her!

Are Shillary, Stain and Barky really so stupid that they will make Michigan taxpayers incur the additional $8 million or so that will not be covered by Stain and her fund?
Have they decided to just write Michigan off as a red state forever? Seems kind of like the Deplorables comments writing off half the voters.

I’m guessing that she will not be getting more of the big money until the court challenges are settled. Her fundraising on her web site has slowed to a crawl.
Double done. Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) had the same count as announced on election day. Not too many dead people vote in Pittsburgh, and no "Hispanic" population to speak of.
With this recount in Phila. precincts and those in Allegheny County not showing any change per se, then this will help the Federal Judge decide that there is no need for a recount as Stein’s selected precincts showed no fraud.
Thanks for reminding me! 72 precincts. So the big money for recounts was solicited for a bigger and bigger disinformation campaign and accompanying legal fees and future campaigns and to get people to personally buy into this last ditch effort to not make America great again.
But...but...but...what about the ballots printed in cursive that Hillary voters couldn’t read!

Penn designed a city, now known as Philadelphia, although Mr. Penn might not like how it turned out.
William Penn, like President Elect Trump, made his career in real estate development.
At that rate, Hillary would have picked up a whopping 107 votes across Philly 1,600 voting divisions. That was taxpayer money well spent.....NOT!!!
Stein does not care about this at all, her plan is to stall and drag out these states as long as she can hoping to cause as much trouble for voters and Trump. And that while standing in the national spotlight that did not notice her during the election.
