For several reasons...none of them being cost...I think it's wise for the entire family to live in DC.There are surely plenty of fine schools in,and around,DC for his son to attend.

I agree. They do need to move to DC just for security, practicality reasons. I don’t like the thought of him flying back and forth.

Melania and their son are living at Trump Tower until
Barron’s school is out for the summer. They feel that it
would disrupt his life too much to pull him out of a school
where he’s doing well and force him to adjust to all the
new things at once. (We are talking about a 9 yr. old
child.) - Did you get all concerned about the numerous
vacations and golf outings the Obama family indulged in
during their tenure? Trump is not taking a salary. Did
Hussein Obama ever consider such a thing for himself?
Also, I would wager that the Trump family already has had
a security team at the Tower for a long time in place
even BEFORE he thought of running for POTUS.
