Dallas — I am a Republican presidential elector, one of the 538 people asked to choose officially the president of the United States. Since the election people have asked me to change my vote based on policy disagreements with Donald J. Trump. In some cases, they cite the popular vote difference. I do not think president-elects should be disqualified for policy disagreements. I do not think they should be disqualified because they won the Electoral College instead of the popular vote. However, now I am asked to cast a vote on Dec. 19 for someone who shows daily he is not qualified for the office.

He also claims to be not able to support Trump because he “encouraged illegal acts” (of Russia hacking Hillary’s emails). Yet...
He says NOTHING about Obama encouraging a WORSE illegal act - that is, illegals voting in our election.

The funny thing is his “reasons” are part false, part things that have been “known” about trump since the start of the campaign, and part things that are meaningless.

Of course, it doesn’t. And of course, Trump hasn’t either because he isn’t even president yet. And this would have been an issue with ANY elected person who had any business dealings outside of the states.

How did this guy ever get picked by the republican party of Texas to be an elector? Don’t they have any standards down there?

If one is a “faithless” Elector, one should stop down and be replaced by a faithful Elector! The idea that Donald Trump is “unfit” to be President is a ridiculous liberal meme, which is being disproven every day.

Someone should tell this idiot that Clinton’s email server has been shut down for years so the Russians could not have hacked it if they wanted to, although they hacked it when it was in operation. Trump merely jokingly told them to release them from their files.
