PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Green Party-backed lawyers want a federal judge to order a recount of Pennsylvania's Nov. 8 presidential election result, won by Republican Donald Trump.

A federal lawsuit filed Monday morning in Philadelphia names state elections officials and says Pennsylvania's barriers to a recount violate voters' constitutional rights.

I agree. PA has much better/clearer laws. MI is the crazy one. State laws don’t require a 1% vote getter to pay for the full cost of the recount? A judge is going to really have to do some legal gymnastics to rule in her favor in the PA case. Not saying it won’t happen, but it would be interesting to see the legal argument.

Without the Greenies Hillary would have won. Maybe Hillary wants to do this to destroy them.

Mullah Obama or Nana Hillary could at least try to stop this, if they cared about a “peaceful transition.”

Neither would ever know peace if the election was stolen.

Like Michigan, they have found their judge.

This is a horrendous precedent being set for national elections.

Stein and her lawyers have a very big hill to climb. They voluntarily dismissed their action in the Pennsylvania courts, and now are going to another court to complain that the state court's requirement of posting a 1 million dollar bond is discriminatory against them, even though they have bragged about raising 7 million dollars.

How does that even get past the laugh out loud test?

The posting of a bond is set forth in the state law, with an amount to be set based on anticipated costs that might be assessed against the party asking to invalidate the election.

Stein's initial filing at the state level had far less evidence than is required by statute, including no actual evidence of an illegal election. Her lawyers pointed to attempts to hack into voting registration systems in other states as evidence, but those events have nothing to do with the actual election in Pennsylvania. Her petition included a declaration from a professor who relied on a DHS press release, but the press release itself contradicts the professor's position.

The filings in the Pennsylvania state court action are here

What the Green Party is doing violates my constitutional rights. They are making themselves just as irrelevant as the Democrats.

Yes. But they are pieces of #### as we always suspected.

I’d spit in Stein’s face if she were in front of me.

Either that or turn to stone.

According to the left, a national election where they lose is unconstitutional.

This will be the new normal for every presidential election.

I don’t understand why Trump/GOP have not demanded recounts is Nevada, New Hampshire, Maine and Minnesota.

How does that even get past the laugh out loud test?

When a Liberal Federal Jurist feels the surge of raw judicial power. The case of Reuben "Hurricane" Carter comes to mind.

without the illegal voters. dead voters and shredded republican absentee ballots, Hildabeast would have lost the popular vote by a landslide. Most people forget the fact about how many illegals there are in Ca alone....millions.

Another Freeper pointed out last week that the Stein campaign may have never raised the money they claimed they raised. Some people saw a regular pattern in the ongoing incremental changes in their running fundraising total and identified it as evidence of a donor using a "bot" to circumvent contribution limits. This Freeper pointed out that it may have been simply been something written into the software to fabricate fictitious "contributions" just to make it look like they were raising a lot of money.

Let’s not leave out Colorado....they should also do California, not to win, but to create delay and uncover fraud that we know is there

If they demand recounts it gives credibility to the idea of recounts. Trump is boxed in. I think they figured that over turning 3 states is too long a shot. They will have ammo to revamp the election systems now.

No it won’t. Registration verifying would not be part of any recount process.
The rats would have their judges put that in the order.
According to democrats, verifying registrations is voter intimidation.

Since it’s obvious that, but for Jill Stein, Hillary would probably have won these states and hence, the Presidency, maybe this is what Jill Stein was told to do to avoid Arkancide?

It’s the Georgie Bush Syndrome. Let them dump all over you with no response. Trump should have been counter punching in those states that Clinton won by very slim margins.
