Was anyone really surprised?
I don’t think either Stein or Hillary is terribly popular in Michigan and elsewhere because of this continuing nonsense. While it would have been nice to have had the whole thing thrown out, tbh, it has not been cheap for them on most fronts to have salvaged only about 3-5 net votes in WI so far.
They better count really really fast!

Who pays for it. Need to send the judge documents to sign saying the Fed government will pay. I the judge don’t sign, no recount. If the judge does sign, it’s obligating the government without authority. A federal crime.
So no safe harbor date Dec. 12?
Margin of victory too wide for them to steal. Plus Trump is no McRomney. He fights like a democrat. He wont let them steal it
That I believe is true. Michigan would be well within the right to simply go by those certified totals (that were apparently counted twice) in order to send their electors.
This is what people are worried about. Not that a legal recount would change anything. But that activist judges would ignore the law and ram through their agendas. Al Franken won by demanding a recount and then fraudulently adding votes. He did it pretty much all in the open.

Agreed. The recounts that resulted in new victors (Gregoire, Salmon, and Franken) involved very small margins for the original winners of those contests and very small margins again for the winners following the recounts (371 was the highest and that was for Al Franken in MN in 2008).
Even if they fail to overturn the election results, this controversy establishes a narrative. In two years or so, more than half the country will be convinced that the election was rigged and Trump is a usurper.
Two things:
1. This is total crap and a financial burden on the state of Michigan. Should we just change our laws to have a perpetual election until the party of our choice wins?
2. Jill Stein continues her quest to become the most hated person in America. She has no hope of winning and files a frivolous lawsuit as a “straw buyer”. I wonder what her personal payoff is for fronting Hillary?
How can they possibly verify the eligibility to vote of those casting 4.8 million ballots...oh wait...wut?...that’s not the issue?...never mind.
I like the recounts. It will backfire like everything else they’ve tried. Trump has outsmarted these fools every step of the way. They are wasting time and energy, blowing millions, and, though i didnt think it was possible, democrats are becoming even MORE unpopular. The best part is Trump has pulled even further ahead in Wisconsin and these morons are paying for it! So much winning!
