“Housing and Urban Development” has nothing to do with actual construction. Mostly, their mission (subject to creep, which has gotten us to where we now are) is to provide “safe, sound and sanitary” housing for the persons who cannot provide for the planning and development necessary in their lives to become highly productive citizens, and undertake the burden of actual home ownership. It is a mindset that has been encouraged and even forced in urban regions, contributing to the rot and corruption of municipalities, and general decline of neighborhoods most affected by this source of largesse.
Dr Carson’s mission would be to educate and encourage the reversal of this trend, showing people they CAN leave the projects and find a true upward trajectory in life.
So HUD is now in the role of psychologist/social worker?
Dr Carson is 65 years (not enough years left on the ol Earth) old and no way no how will he be able to reverse these savages way of thinking that WE, the taxpayer, owe them a living.
Especially the ones that are third or fourth generation tit suckers.
HUD will need to learn to take care of Americans first, not illegals who collect taxpayers dollars and vote for leftist communists who call them useful idiots and despise law and order patriots on the right. The black community will also see that they are not getting the same line of crap as the deems give them every election, then toss them to the curb right after. Exactly. That is why he would be an awesome choice. No one better to give hope and his own life experience to those who need it the most. Changing the narrative is key. Dr. Carson can do that. I wish him the best.
