My dad was too, but he was in the Army. I’m not sure what his role was.

Hey there! Did ya have a good time at the party last night?
I’m in OKC again. My DIL is sick and needs to go to the doctor.. She really can’t with 2 kids in tow...especially Callie! Not sure how long I’ll be here.

Good evening, mountainlion...you make a very good point.
Maybe we will now be able to get the schools back on track and get real history back being taught by patriotic Americans.

So that’s where you went and why? I saw your post last night about hitting the road this morning and was surprised.
Hope your DIL is going to be ok.
Yes, we had a good time last night. Saw some friends we hadn’t seen in a while. The only bad part about it was the drive there and back. They live waaaaaaaay out in the country and the roads are narrow and dark. Add rain to the mix and it just wasn’t a fun drive. But since we need the rain, there are no complaints. :-)
Hope your drive today was a smooth one.

Whew, BRRRRRR!!
Do you have a blanket you can throw over your lap and wrap around your legs at work tomorrow? Your feet are going to be blocks of ice!

It was actually a great drive. Not much traffic and cloudy most of the way, which is the way I like it when I travel. No sun in my eyes!
I hope she’ll be OK, too. She’s complaining of chest tightness and pain between her shoulder blades. She’ll go tomorrow and I’ll stay here with the the girls. Such a sacrifice for me. LOL!
