No one ever alleged abuse against a Catholic priest. Not a single one. Until one did.
I think you should do more research: the abuses were alleged for decades. The church was aware of the problem as early as the 1950's. But instead of dealing with the problem, they just shuffled priests around.

But, I'll ask: why hasn't ONE "pizzagate" victim come forward since this has been in the news? Another poster mentioned a British pedophile, claiming that no victims were found until after he died.
That's not entirely true: there had been complaints, but they were ignored because he was a celebrity. But after the BBC broadcast a documentary about a handful of accusations, the floodgates opened.
So, where are the pizzagate victims? There simply aren't any. You can't just wave them away as unnecessary, because our criminal justice system requires one to move forward.
