I am not from Michigan, but probably what LS means is that they certified their votes last week to be sure. If the recount is not complete by the deadline, Michigan would be well within the right to simply go by the originally certified numbers (that were already counted twice) and select their electors by those numbers.

Hopefully courts stop all this crap over next few days.
