Democratic staffer exposes the soft bigotry of Senate Democrats
New York Daily News ^ | November 30, 2016 | Shaun King

President Obama has actually done a pretty good job as President at hiring a truly diverse staff. From cabinet positions all the way down to interns, he has attempted to build a team that looks like America. Unfortunately, he has less than two months left in office and most of that diversity will be flushed down the toilet. His impending absence reveals the painful truth that the Democratic Party has been using his administration as cover for their own lack of effort, from the top down, at building genuine diversity in our government.

Only if ‘looks like America’ would look like competence.

Oh oh, blacks are waking up to the fact that Democrats have been keeping them on the plantation.

Some, but clearly not enough.

Neither Diversity or Tolerance are virtues. They are usually adjectives to describe a political correctness.

Diversity of what? Skin color, political thought, religious conviction ??? Same thing can be said about Tolerance.

Liberals pick and choose which characteristic is the pick of the da, month, year - which ever suits their polical purpose.

This notion that there is something laudable about staffing the Cabinet based on appearance reminds me of Billy Crystal's parody of Fernando Lamos, when he said, "It is more important to look good than to feel good."

my point is that “diversity” is a cancer to good government and not to be pursued by government or Christianity.

If diversity is your focus, racism is your creed.

A truly non racist does not see diversity in a crowd, he just sees people.

Is this the same Shaun King that wrote the article? The fake black guy writing to lament the lack of diversity? Wow. What a world we live in.

I moved to an office outside of DC, but have to enter the district for meetings and events.

One of the first things I noticed was the caste system inside the district. It is blatantly obvious. Maybe this exists other places, but in the Pacific Northwest everybody dresses like they fell out of the REI catalog so it isn't as noticeable.

You can blame the $500 suit, white bureaucrats for erecting a system that holds back America. It's the mid-grade DC fed employees that turns the cogs on that bureaucracy every day. They still wear expensive suits, but they look like they are going clubbing, not to work. Outrageous ties, shoes, scarves make up severely optimistic packaging for people that are generally poorly educated and bad at their jobs. The only solution to fixing that would be to move those jobs well outside the district where the wage structure would attract better workers.

Yeah. The same soft bigotry they exuded when they created The KKK, opposed the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments and stood in the way of President Eisenhower’s Civil Rights Act.

Bullshiit!! The Moron in the white hut hasn’t done a “good job” at anything in eight years except screwing up the country. Everything he touched or meddled with invariably became CRAP!! Health care, the economy, the military, law enforcement, immigration, you name it and he has loused it up. What a burden he has been to our Country!!
