So a Twitter account may be needed?
I’ve rejected Facebook,
But I like being “cutting edge “
That’s why I am a FReeper ,and
Drudge.

Twitter,,,

You don’t need an account to read someone’s tweets. Just type in their name and if they have a twitter account, it will show up.

I get just as much conservative news from FB as from here. In fact, I read articles there and then come here to see if anyone has posted the same information. I get news directly from Trump. I also get news from Diamond and Silk. Fb is what the user makes it. Thankfully all but 2 friends are Christian conservatives. They link articles that I may have missed otherwise. I also keep up with family and friends. Some go back to when I was just a kid in the 1940’s and 1950’s and from college in the early 1960’s. People posted up to date info on the fires in Gatlinburg letting people know which buildings, areas were damaged or ok. I really enjoy FB.

Twitter is fun but they sensor, just FYI. There is a new beta program out called gab.ai but you have to get on a waiting list. Took me 3 weeks to get on. They claim to not sensor. Some on twitter mention they are also on Gab and it is truly free speech. I don’t know, I really haven’t used it much.

Twitter has it’s limits and flaws, definitely. However, it’s pretty good for privacy as far as you don’t have to give away any personal info.

Twitter is fun. Trump’s tweets and Bill Mitchell’s are pretty good. There are some cutting edge people on there.

I believe you can observe twitter without having an account. Like here at FR.

Try this:

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump

And a list of what the transition team is up to

https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=%23TrumpTransitionTeam&src=tyah

If you decide to look, let me know how it works out for you.

Of course if you decide to signup, that can be done quite easily.

Facebook is far more cutting edge than Drudge and FR.

I have thought of joining Twitter because of Trump, but I am on FR just about every day, so I can always count on FReepers to report on Trump’s latest significant tweets.
