Elizabeth Wood used to work at IBM. She recently resigned from her position as senior content strategist, a job she held for the previous two years. People resign all the time from roles, so that is nothing new. What is different about Ms. Woods resignation is a) why we she did it and b) what she did next.
On November 15, 2016, Ginni Rometty, chairman, president and CEO of IBM, unleashed an open letter thatamong other thingsoffered President-elect Donald Trump suggestions to help America. In her note, Rometty wrote, I know that you are committed to help Americas economy grow in ways that are good for all its people.

Looks like ibm dodged the billet with this one who was too “ principled” to legitimize the Trump presidency by supporting her employers suggestions for economic progress
Whenever you hear someone use the word “Legitimizing” the pre supposition is they are the arbiters of what is legitimate and what is not...
Welll.... bye.
OK, so like, whatever.
Probably taking a position in one of the many Soros organizations dedicated to undermining the USA.
She’s a racist
She’ll look back on this as a stupid move one day.
I'd say Dan Pontefract is a good reason to never bother with reading anything from Forbes again. Hopefully the magazine will suffer with readers knowing people like this contribute to what is in the pages of Forbes.

Bears repeating...
Awesome thought!
The seasonal favorites: Chestnut Praline Latte, Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte and Egg Nog Latte are back and can be enjoyed hot or cold. Old stand-by Holiday Spice Flat White, where warm spices are added to Starbuck's signature flat white is here as usual, and new this year is Spiced Sweet Cream Cold Brew,
“Not only was IBM choosing to legitimize the president-elect, they were choosing to be so loud and public about it.”
I guess tens of millions of US voters should be arrogantly swept away? Well, bye beeotch. Hopefully the door left a mark on your corporate @ss on the way out.
Apparently Ms. Wood has no idea what business IBM is in.Everyone deserves to work for a place that demonstrates consistent and unflinching respect for human decency, Elizabeth concluded. Everyone needs an awareness of their role in society and the world at large, especially when it comes for speaking on behalf of their workforce.
special kind of stupid
This is what happens when spoiled brats meet the real world.
perfect timing for her decision to leave IBM.
NY Mayor just set up a program to pay homeowners $2,000/month to let a homeless immigrant move in with them.
if that bounty is per capita, she could move in 5 or 6 immigrants to replace what she was making at IBM and not have to worry about setting the alarm to get up for work anymore.
Yo, Elizabeth.
High tech companies (even liberal ones) don’t really like having flunkies sending mail on corporate letterhead advocating political thinking.
Most likely she was ‘asked’ to resign.
As a “Sr. content STRATEGIST” this chick was in over her head...
