Green Party drops PA case, plans to go federal
Pittsburgh Post-Gazette ^ | December 3, 2016 | Marc Levy / Associated Press

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Green Party-backed voters dropped a court case Saturday night that had sought to force a statewide recount of Pennsylvania’s Nov. 8 presidential election, won by Republican Donald Trump, in what Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein had framed as an effort to explore whether voting machines and systems had been hacked and the election result manipulated.

But later Saturday night, the party announced it’ll go to federal court instead. A statement from the lead lawyer for the recount campaign says it’ll seek an emergency federal court order for the recount. It says barriers to a recount in Pennsylvania are pervasive and the state court system isn’t equipped to address them.

What sane person would keep running for office unless this is her money making job?

I have a rule of politicians: All politicians are scoundrels unless proven otherwise. Upon proof, they will need to make regular installments of proof lest they get re-labeled as scoundrels.

The MAJORITY of the tax-paying CITIZENS of this country
said, “HELL NO!” to the spectre of the CLINTON’S proposed
DYNASTY. - HILLARY, BILL, OBAMA, SOROS and crew seem intent
on RAMMING HITLER-Y CLINTOON down our throats while using
a “Green Party” woman with no standing to do their dirty
work. HILLARY is a vicious little troll any time she can’t
get her way. I DO NOT CARE THAT SHE HAD PLANNED TO BE
PRESIDENT ALL HER LIFE. I had ambitions for myself, too,
and they did not include her being POTUS. Clintons, like
Kennedys, have worn thin finally after 30 yrs. or more of
them sucking all the air out of the room. IF HITLER-Y
had MEANT to be POTUS, then she should have shoved Bill,
the oral sex guy, out of the way and RAN WAY BACK THEN.
(I doubt she would have resonated with voters back at
that time either, so she doubled down on riding Bill’s
coat tails for fake resume enhancing government jobs.)

MSM is DEAD. CLINTOON DYNASTY is DEAD. OBAMA’S “LEGACY”
is about where it deserves to be - on the ash heap of
history. He can still stick his nose in the air and
prance around on the Hitlerian Coronation stage pretend-
ing to be King Farouk. I do not care as long as he,
Michelle and the girls vacate the premises Jan. 20.

Highly likely a significant percentage of those PA absentee ballots were fraudulent.

While I understand that her recourse, if she suspects impropriety* in the vote, is a recount then why don’t the states look for improprieties in the votes/voters themselves instead of simply recounting the vote.

* improprieties such as not allowing Philly to wait for the rest of the State in order to determine how many votes are needed to win?

Philly: WE are the 111%!

“This thing can’t even get started in time to finish by Dec. 13 at this point.”

THAT’S the point. Hillary can’t win the recounts, they know that. The objective is to get states in hand recounts that extend past safe harbor, maybe even the actual voting date for the EC to change the outcome of the EC vote.

Right, there are a few of those. There are also voters given provisional ballots because their names have been stricken off the rolls (due to reported death, moving out of the county, or inactivity over many voting cycles).

However Dems have been successful in preventing regular attempts to "clean up" voter rolls. I would guess in urban areas such as Philly, voter rolls have not been cleaned up for decades. Much fraud is perpetrated by persons impersonating legally-registered voters ... who in fact are long gone.

That's why a more rigorous investigation needs to be done for this kind of provisional ballot. But in Philly, is a thorough check ever done?

They voted early and often ala 2008 and 2012. Remember those videos of that black “church” lady “helping” others to vote for the ONE by escorting scores into the voting booths?

It’s probably too late in the process to do a lot of this checking. That investigation really needs to be done BEFORE the election, not after the votes have already been cast.

I’m not sure what that would accomplish. Trump would beat Hillary Clinton even if you took away all of the electoral votes from these three states.

“They’re hoping for us react physically so they can declare Martial Law.”

Who is “they”? Obama would not dare declare martial law. It would have to be enforced, and he would look behind him and see nobody.

If they dropped the PA suit because a recount would expose fraud on their side, why did they file for the same thing in a Fed Court?

Agree, but provisional voters show up only on election day itself. So even though a well-organized election board might be prepared to do a good job authenticating them --in ordinary times-- these are no ordinary times.

I think many places are experiencing a large increase in provisional voters, and in urban areas this overwhelms the system. (Standard Alinskyite tactic.)

To some degree the increase in provisional voters might have backfired in this election, i.e. in so-called rural areas of so-called rust-belt states. I know in my small town, we had a higher-than-usual number of provisional ballots; I'm in a Republican area so they were probably mostly were for Trump.

Trump still wins, assuming all electors vote as expected. I’ll bet you a dollar if you let me control the FBI, IRS, CIA or some sizable portion thereof for 3 weeks, I can get 20 Trump electors (and many judges along the way) to switch their vote upon demand (see John Roberts). Don’t forget Obama is helping this along in the background while being so polite and cordial about the time-honored tradition of smooth transitions... I’m of course assuming they are all nefarious, evil people here, including the many who would conspire along with, but I can’t help but be mindful of all outcomes and scenarios.

Right. So do millions of other voters. The problems with fraudulent voting that you described are not limited to provisional voters.
