The non-ISIS, non-Al_Qaeda “rebels” are the weakest side in Syria. We don’t get to watch them win this civil war any more than we get to watch the Minnesota Twins (59 wins, 103 losses) win this year’s World Series. Our choices are the brutal dictator (Assad), or the terrorists (either ISIS or Al Qaeda).

That brutal dictator was elected in a free election monitored by international monitors. He did a pretty good job of taking care of all of his people AND getting them to live together peaceably before this war started.
The war is not about "the people" wanting to get rid of their brutal dictator - they would have had a chance to do that in their next election which will now have to wait until this war concludes. The war was brought on by the monied Arabs in the Gulf States trying to push their natural gas pipeline through Syria and into Europe.

no. our “choices” are:
(1) total regional or world war (with nuclear overtones possible) due to the current strategy.
or
(2) muzzling/or defanging obama’s dog erdogan and getting out of putin’s way while he tries to fix the middle east obama and crew purposely destablized.
