To: Lonesome in Massachussets

Exactly. I lived on Boylston St. Down toward Fenway Park...I well remember the nonsense of traffic. That was early 70’s...and it only got worse with each municipal “improvement”.

Just read one building has collapsed in Cambridge fire.

About 15 years ago my son lived in Boston for a few months. He and his friends rented an apt on Boylston right behind Fenway and right across from the Fens. I went to visit a few times, and was glad to see he was in a big ol brick building, with marble floors. I suppose the interior would go in a flash (wood, no window exits except to jump -I showed him which dumpster to aim for-) but we both loved that apt! Of course, no cooking facilities, by t these were 4 college kids-all had jobs in bars.
