The Trump win was supposed to sink the economy. Instead, things—at least so far—seem to be looking up. And so a new media narrative has just been launched: If Donald Trump succeeds, it will be because President Barack Obama gave him such a great push. How else to explain the near simultaneous publication of two articles on Friday, one in Politico, the other at FiveThirtyEight.
The first is "Trump Inherits Obama Boom" by Politico's Ben White, with the subheadline, "The president is handing his successor an economy that's now the envy of the world." The second, over at FiveThirtyEight, come from Ben Casselman and is headlined, "Trump Will Benefit From Obama's Strong Job Market." To Casselman's credit (or that of his editor), the subhead is a bit more measured: "Donald Trump will inherit a job market that is strong but perhaps not quite firing on all cylinders."

Obama did everything he could to make gasoline $10/gallon and make coal, natural gas, and oil unaffordable, but he didn’t expect fracking to come along and make energy cheaper than its been in decades. So naturally the economy starts to take off with cheap energy that he fought tooth and nail.
He’ll take credit, of course, and everybody will conveniently forget his “green” energy boondoggles and his efforts to destroy the energy industry.

Obama’s latest round of EPA rules will cause our electric rates in Louisville to rise almost 9% come Jan 1st. Even our rat mayor is upset.
Having grown up in a trailerhood, I can assure you that I am profoundly insulted (/sarc) that you would compare these degenerates to the alcoholics and sex/drug addicts that are the denizens of most trailer parks. They make the sots, and whores of a trailer park look like Blue Blood high society.
We're in for some rough sledding in 2017, and Trump will need all his persuasive powers to let the American people know what is happening and why and what the end game is. Especially as you know the MSM and commentariat will be blaming Trump for every stubbed toe and sniffle from the moment he takes the Oath of office.
President Trump will need the prayers of millions much more so that candidate Trump as he starts to actually drain the swamp and America sees the rot that has been allowed to fester for decades.

Refer back to Reagan. The economy looked to have gone south in a big way in his first couple of years. It had to shed all the misallocations of resources that had it wheezing and grabbing for its chest. So we had a Reagan Collapse before we got the Reagan boom. The Reagan Collapse lasted what? 2 years? The Reagan Boom went to the end of the century. Clinton and the Bush pere couldn’t kill it quickly, try as they might. It had to wait for the end of Bush fils’s term to fall of the weight of all the distortions that had been loaded into it since Reagan but had failed yet to kill it.
A perfect and prime example of FAKE NEWS.
Always remember that the 50 IQ idiots at FiveThirtyEight gave Trump a 2% chance of winning the Republican nomination.
BTW, what happened to that tiny faction of FR trolls, some who had sign-up dates of 1998, who insisted that the polls are accurate and Trump would lose? Guess they went back to the Soros Nazi compound.
