just tell China that Taiwan has always been a friend of the USA and under our protective wing. We will speak with them in public or private whenever we wish. China has not been a friend and will not tell us with whom we will speak.

You heard it here first: “One” China will fall apart under Trump’s watch just as the Soviet Union did under Reagan. The trade imbalance has propped them up as a shell for too long, their populace is spoiled, wealthy are all capitalists, Christianity is growing rapidly, and communism is becoming increasingly overbearing and irrelevant.
One China policy is obsolete.
Three Communiques are obsolete.
Pretending Taiwan is not a country is stupid and counter-productive and only increases chances for conflict and harms the economy.

Taiwan is an ally of the US. And Obama has RECENTLY sold them lotsa arms.
Many of us have no issue with the "one China" policy, as long as the "one China" refers to Taiwan.
Beijing should accept Taiwan as an equal or superior to them, and stop pretending that Communism is the better ideology.

Globalist thinking goes back much longer than 20 years. Reagan broke the detente cold war policy of many decades and even he didn’t say anything about Taiwan
