A man who posed as a UPS delivery driver and three others are wanted in a violent robbery, caught in part on camera, according to Houston police. *snip*
In the surveillance footage, one suspect -- clad in a UPS jacket and brown baseball cap, and carrying a package -- is seen approaching the door to the residence. Police said the man rang the doorbell, claiming he needed a signature for the package.

Just last night at 12 :15 There was a hammering at our back door. My house was built in the 1930’s and screams OLD PEOPLE. My girl friends son, his son and I answered the door while ALL were wearing JackAss leather. The YUT and what I truly believe to be an illegal Muzzie dropped jaws, ahemmed and yawed and said is ‘Shaqille here?’ We never said a word until I said “Get off my lawn.” My boys laughed so hard they almost peed their pants.
Definitely.
I knew guys though that went in, said it changed them 100 percent, left after 4 years and were aimless again.
They shouldn’t be allowed to leave the military unless they have a job lined up :)
I know. That violates a million laws.
I won’t either, really. I work from home and ship stuff, so I know my UPS, FedEx and Mailman by name.
I’s just bein’ silly - because we have so many STUPID GUN LAWS that don’t do a THING to protect us...in our own homes!
Jackass leather! I learn so much on FR.
Jackass leather is old time for what is now Galco shoulder holsters. I bought mine in 1978 and got the kids’ theirs for XMas. Quality, comfort and reliability.
I was referring to your pointing your gun at friends and relatives
If its not signature required, my packages are left on the porch.
For my signature, I sign Thru the burglar bar door as my dogs are having a conniption fit.
Same here, but it's a 38 Special.
There's a great scene in the movie "Leon, The Professional" when a bad guy, looking for the little girl, comes up to Leon's apartment and presses his ear to the door.
Leon is tracking him through the peephole and had his Beretta aimed at the guy. The cool part is when the bad guy moves his head around, listening, Leon tracks him, moving his pistol so that it is always pointed at his head.
You also point your gun at friends and relatives?
That was the other poster.
No problem. I don’t think you and I disagree.
“But...can I shoot THROUGH said door? ;)”
In Cali that would be DA’s wet dream. Don’t pass go, Don’t collect $200 go straight to jail. Now if he kicked the in all bets are off. Fire as you bear. 00 Buck would be a welcome surprise.
In TX, the uninvited can be shot anywhere on your property or if they are messing with your car. Everyone knows the rules.
Ok.
When my Daughter was 19 she had a falling out with some guys who really turned into punks. One night when hubby was working and she was out my doorbell started ringing. It was midnight. I picked up my gun and walked to the front door and looked out the peephole. It was 2 of those punks. I took about 4 steps back from the door and started listening to what they were saying. They kept ringing the doorbell and then one said.....how about I just kick the door in? I said.....go ahead. There’s a 38 pointed right at you. You should’ve seen them run! Lol. And she never heard from them again.
Go read the law before you land in jail.

The rules? Wouldn't it be better to know the law?
We live in a rural area and none of 'em "just drop by" - they call first. So, any knock at the door is a stranger - usually Mormon missionaries or Jehovah's Witnesses.
Actually, the gun is behind my back, pointed towards the floor. A couple of times, when they wouldn't take "No" for an answer, I'd calmly lay the gun on a little waist-high shelf on my right. That always ends the sales pitch.
Thanks! I love a good story, especially if you're on the winning side.
Great movie.
Thumbs up!
