Obama sneaks $4 billion for illegals in lame duck budget
The Washington Examiner ^ | December 2, 2016 | Paul Bedard

Specifically, $1 billion would provide "cash and medical expenses and social services" for illegals and refugees.

Another $2.82 billion would fund the care of youths flooding across the border in historic numbers. "HHS is experiencing the highest number of unaccompanied children in care and the largest footprint of funded capacity in the program's history, and flows of unaccompanied children have continued to grow over the last months," said the administration's documents.

That increase, which has shocked many immigration critics on Capitol Hill, is far more than the $1.4 billion increase the administration sought for veterans health care in the Fiscal 2017 budget.

Heck, Muzzies are bad enough, but our population is in FAR more danger from criminal Messy-cans. There are some brutal, evil people coming up from the South. They'd shoot you, your mama, kids...whatever if they knew they were about to get caught. Let me amend that...they take a life for a $35.00 cash drawer robbery at the local Popeyes chicken joint.

If Obama can “sneak” $4 billion by Congress than shame on Congress. How about identifying the light weights in Congress responsible and vote them out.

How about a ride on a C130 and a parachute?

I'm okay with that too. Our pilots need flight hours, and our country does not need a policy of rewarding crime.

All illegals need to go. Illegals apprehended at the border should never be released with a promise to appear for a hearing; they should be held until deported. Illegals who arrived in the past two (four?) years and thus do not have ties to our country should be deported after a fair hearing. The border should be sealed. Those who overstay visas should be tracked down and deported. And anyone deported should be permanently barred from reentry. We need to remove all incentives for illegals to come here, and we need to punish those who knowingly employ illegals (or should have known) severely enough that they decide to follow the laws in the future.

I almost like President Trump's proposal for touch-back amnesty. Illegals who self-deport can apply for legal entry. Their English proficiency, if they learned while here should count in their favor. Their record of productive work without demanding welfare and other social services should count in their favor. Their record of being here with no criminal record at all should count in their favor. As for those who committed a crime after their illegal entry, those who sucked up welfare dollars, and other parasites/predators, good riddance. And those who have to be deported instead of paying their own way home? Good riddance to them too. Anyone deported should be permanently barred from America.

As for sanctuary cities, they should have all federal funds withheld, and even federal employees need to be moved out of those areas. Perhaps no PCS moves to sanctuary cities/states would be a good rule. They can lose their base of federal paychecks by attrition after losing highway dollars and other funds immediately.

Now THAT’S what comprehensive immigration should look like. We now have the mandate for it, as that was Mr. Trump’s main impetus and emphasis.

Great post; thanks for putting it out there.

My hope is that (1) Trump’s people will read it and like the general outline, and (2) Trump’s supporters will read it and forward their favorite parts to Team Trump.

At $4B for this crop of illegals, a border wall sounds like a great investment. That money divided over 2,000 miles gives $2M per mile, or just under $400 per foot. That much money will buy a pretty decent wall if we pay competitive rates instead of paying government rates.

Attention Mr. Trump: Another for your “get rid of it as fast as I can” list.

This money should be invested in the wall. The wall will give payback. Doing it nobama’s way just costs more and more.
