She is completely correct that this is indeed crony capitalism. When favored companies get tax dollars, they are tax dollars taken from others—so those who aren’t favored get a double whammy.
Any business could claim special tax breaks by your logic, but that’s the thing about special tax breaks—they only go to the “winners” chosen by the pols in office.
